Shift : Monday-Thursday 6 : 20am-4 : 50pm. Mandatory overtime is mandatory when required.
Summary :
The Quality Control Technician completes Quality and Food Safety quantitative and qualitative on the floor testing. They are the front-line leaders to ensuring adherence to product specifications and to our food safety and quality programs.
Position Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review equipment post sanitation for remaining food debris and overall equipment condition.
- Print daily quality and production paperwork.
- Verify accuracy of item labels, product coding and allergens.
- Complete and document hourly, daily, and weekly quantitative and qualitative testing.
- Communicate non-conforming results immediately to management.
- Monitor assigned area for GMP compliance.
- Collect samples of finished goods to be submitted for microbiological testing.
- Conduct in line audits / product assessments for specification compliance.
- Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, document corrective actions.
Qualifications :
Must be able to walk, stand, use hands, crouch or kneel and climb stairs during 10 hour shift.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be a Team PlayerProblem Solving abilitiesMust be able to work independently without supervision.Education and / or experience :
High School diploma or GEDSix months experience in manufacturing environment, preferably food industryEqual Opportunity Employer
