Location : Overland Park, KS

Type : 3-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)

Hours : MondayFriday | 9 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM

A specialty pharmacy in Overland Park is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with home infusion and specialty medication needs.

Position Requirements :

Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician License

PTCB Certified

Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience

Core Responsibilities :

Maintain daily cleanliness of the pharmacy; document temperature logs twice daily

Receive and verify incoming medication shipments via FedEx, UPS, and other couriers

Adhere to all DSCSA compliance standards for handling drug inventory

Ability to safely lift and move containers up to 50 lbs

Accurately record and store all incoming inventory

Monitor pharmacy supply levels, restock, and prepare reorder lists

Prepare and label prescriptions and supply kits for home infusion and hemophilia patients

Pack and organize outgoing shipments for overnight delivery

Build and insulate shipping coolers for temperature-sensitive medications

Perform quarterly audits of patient charts

Organize and file documents into physical charts and assign electronic records in CPR+
