General Laborer

As a Production Worker, you will begin in a saw helper position where you will prepare extruded aluminum to be loaded into age ovens. This role involves collaborating with another saw helper to move large pieces of aluminum, working closely with the Saw Operator to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications, checking for quality defects, scrapping defective material, and using a forklift to transfer materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare extruded aluminum for loading into age ovens.
• Collaborate with the Saw Operator and another saw helper to ensure quality compliance.
• Check for and address quality defects in materials.
• Scrap defective material as needed.
• Operate a forklift for material transfer.
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere to and promote all safety requirements.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coburg, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.65 - $20.65 / hr.
