Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Boyertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, supporting a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is a driving position, requiring you to move throughout the property as needed. Pay Rate : $17.49 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for any unusual or suspicious activity, especially in areas where chemicals and petrochemical materials are present.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues according to site protocols.

Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operations within the chemical and petrochemical environment.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
