As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast paced, high-volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life-saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

Position Location : 1100 Lee Branch Ln. Birmingham, AL 35242

Position Schedule : Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm CST

Primary Responsibilities :

• Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
• Other assignments and projects as needed
• Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
