Client Overview

Our client is a preventive health clinic. They are looking for a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem) to support the McLean clinic during the fall and winter season, especially during flu season.

Salary / Hourly Rate

$30 / hr - $32 / hr

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem) will primarily cover for staff on leave and requires in-person availability. You will assist physicians with various procedures and help deliver high-quality preventive care to corporate employees. The schedule on Fridays, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, is required. Additional weekday coverage (1 - 2 days a week) may be requested but is not guaranteed. Contract Duration is from October 2025 to January 2026.

Responsibilities Of The Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem)

• Support physicians with clinical procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, injections, and vaccine administration.
• Conduct routine tests : audiometric, vision, pulmonary function, and tonometry.
• Assist with cardiac step tests and prepping for stress tests.
• Escort patients to testing and exam areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
