RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details :

Work on 36-bed neurosciences unit on 6th floor A Tower

Patient ratios : 5 : 1, 6 : 1 stretch on day shift; 7 : 1 stretch on night shift

Every other weekend required

Float to other medical surgical floors as needed

Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC

Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC

Work with standard medical surgical equipment

Use Cerner EMR system

Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts

Required certifications : ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale

Neuroscience experience preferred

Must wear navy blue scrubs

New staff reference book provided at start of contract

Ideal candidate is outgoing and self-motivated
