Your everyday\n\nTake the lead : prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patient's delivery and post-partum care.\n\nCollaborate with team members to ensure appropriate mom / baby care.\n\nMaintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.\n\nMonitor and engage with your patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.\n\nPrevent and treat wounds.\n\nMonitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.\n\nEnsure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient and their families.\n\nAdvise and consult with supervisor when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.\n\nInitiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.\n\nContribute to the team by assisting others without being asked.\n\nThe Must-Haves Minimum : \n\nCurrent nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.\n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\nCurrent ACLS certification.\n\nNRP certification (within 6 mos.)\n\nCurrent NALS certification\n\nPreferred : \n\nBSN\n\nNCC certification\n\n1 year in a related clinical area\n\nWork Shift : Days (United States of America)\n\nLCMC Health is a community.
