HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Memphis, Tennessee.

Title : X-Ray Technologist

Location : Memphis, TN

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 4x10-Hour (20 : 30 – 06 : 00)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy prior to submission for interpretation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient and imaging records within the Cerner charting system (preferred).
  • Follow all infection control, patient confidentiality, and departmental safety procedures.
  • Provide on-call coverage and work weekends as needed per department requirements.
  • Required Skills & Experience :

  • ARRT (R) certification (required)
  • Active Tennessee state radiologic technologist license (required prior to start)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent X-ray experience (required)
  • At least 1 completed previous travel assignment (preferred)
  • Cerner charting system experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of radiologic positioning, exposure techniques, and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts and adapt to fast-paced hospital settings
