About The Position

Job Title :

Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Days)

Location : Petoskey, MI

Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days (11 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM, 8 hours / day)

Position Summary :

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role requires a high level of professionalism, patient care, and technical competence to support the delivery of high-quality radiologic services.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines.

Position patients accurately and perform imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.

Deliver clear explanations to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and departmental protocols.

Notify the supervising physician of critical or urgent results promptly.

Support surgical services with OR imaging experience.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience

Must have OR and X-ray experience

Prior travel experience – Required

Certifications :

ARRT Certification – Required

BLS – American Heart Association – Required

Licensure :

Valid Michigan Radiologic Technologist license

Provide verification through LARA (and Nursys if applicable)
