We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to support a wide range of patient care activities in collaboration with our family medicine residency team. Under the guidance of designated faculty, you’ll play a key role in preventive care, treatment planning, and patient education in a dynamic academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical exams and preventative screeningsEvaluate diagnostic tests and formulate care plansCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teamsManage care plans for follow-up and ongoing treatmentPrescribe medications and recommend therapeutic proceduresCoordinate referrals to specialists and resourcesRespond to staff inquiries and perform CPR as neededDemonstrate leadership, communication, and sound judgmentProvide general patient education on wellness and health maintenanceParticipate in selected committees as appointedRequired Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programNational certification (AANP or ANCC)Active or eligible Michigan NP licenseACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain)Clean practice history and insurability for liability coveragePreferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Two years of experience as an NP or recent graduateValid CPR certification (Red Cross or AHA accepted)Experience in academic or teaching hospital settingsReady to make a difference in academic medicine?
