Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer. The Armed Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our Armed Security Officers allow us to accomplish our companys core purpose which is "to service, secure and care for the people and businesses in our communities." Armed Security Officers act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Responsibilities :

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons.
• Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and / or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
