job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when necessary. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols. Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or providing information to emergency personnel as needed. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with tenants, employees, and visitors within the retail environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Grandville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a positive experience, while your communication skills will foster strong relationships with guests and staff. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
