About the Team

The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have since then built world-class operations to delight our customers with access to Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail delivery through our marketplace. In order to continue to accelerate growth we need a strong operator to lead our retail selection expansion. This person will help us to empower local retail economies and drive a new revenue stream that is strategic to leadership and our long term retail strategy.

About the Role

As we continue to scale our Retail business, we’re looking to hire an Associate Manager to support key strategic growth initiatives and expand our retail presence in the US across multiple categories such as pets, beauty, flowers, office supplies, home improvement and more. You’ll design and own the strategy (which retailer types / geos / categories to go after), run scrappy tests, and turn wins into scalable playbooks—owning the full funnel from prospecting to onboarding to growth. We operate in a hybrid and spend a few days a month in person together!

• Strategize. From first principles, by mapping selection whitespace by retailer type, geo, and category to unlock product availability for our customers
• Operate . Stand up 0→1 pilots, build dashboards, manage week-over-week KPIs and turn wins into scalable processes.
• Analyze. Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize the next bets.
• Build. Translate sales-cycles and GTM needs into requirements and co-lead product feature development
• Lead, collaborate and Influence. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to unlock partnerships, growth and quality to scale retail presence across the country.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
