The Airborne Effector Production (AEP) within Hardware function is responsible for electronics subsystems for all Airborne production products. This includes staff with RF, Power, Digital and mixed signal electronics experience. The job responsibilities of this AEP Section Leader position include managing and mentoring engineers who are Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) on various programs. The section leader will guide a section of 15 to 20 AEP engineers. This includes hiring, staffing, performance evaluations, mentoring / coaching, expense reports, and timecard approvals. Section leader will also have leadership responsibility in AEP programs. The responsibility is split between functional (10%-20%) and program (80%-90%) tasking.

Qualifications you must have :

• Typically requires Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics (STEM degree) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with RF subsystem development, including design, analysis, and / or test.
• Experience spearheading a technical team, including but not limited to : role of task lead, IPTL or Engineering Lead

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
