On-Demand : Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T2730)

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial : $18.50 USD per hour

Target is an On-Demand TM role where you can work as much or as little as you like. Shifts are posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Attendance and engagement are important, with minimum shift participation requirements and potential termination if contact is not maintained or shifts are not worked within defined timeframes. A Target Welcome orientation and short-term training are required if offered a position. What follows describes the service expectations, day-to-day responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits associated with being a Guest Advocate at Target.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers the service standard.
• Greet guests and engage with them to understand and solve their needs, efficiently scan and bag items, and maintain food safety standards and accuracy.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in-store and in the total store to resolve guest issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs, fulfillment services, and app features (Wallet, Target App) to guests; assist with enrollments as needed.
• Assist with Order Pick Up, Drive Up, Drive Up Returns, and Registry guests; de-escalate situations following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; stock supplies during store hours and handle cash operations and related responsibilities as needed.
• Support cashier and cash office processes and adhere to safety policies, reporting hazards as appropriate.
• Provide a positive and efficient guest experience, including minimizing guest wait times, answering questions, and communicating brand launches and store activities.
• All other duties based on business needs.
