Benefits Specialist

Our client, a well-established organization in Chicago, is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their HR team! Benefits Specialist Responsibilities :
- Manage and support benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave administration
- Serve as a trusted resource, answering benefit-related questions and ensuring employees make the most of their options
- Work with an experienced HR team that values professional development and career progression
- Help optimize benefits processes, contribute to open enrollment, and support compliance efforts
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and wellness initiatives
- Assist with new hire benefits onboarding and support open enrollment processes
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave policies, and insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, and state regulations
- Work closely with HR and payroll teams to process benefits enrollments and changes
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for audits and benefits tracking
Benefits Specialist Requirements :
2+ years in benefits administration, HR, or a related fieldUnderstanding of benefits programs, leave policies, and compliance (COBRA, FMLA, ACA)Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience with HRIS systems and benefits platforms is a plus!Excellent communication and customer service skillsReady to take your HR career to the next level?
