Technician I (Set-Up Technician) Plastics

We are currently seeking a Set-up Technician to join our team. The Set-up Technician plays a crucial role in preventive maintenance, performing changeovers, and repairing machines and equipment to ensure seamless production operations.

Job Type : Full-time, 1st Shift - 6 : 55 am to 3 : 05 pm

Work Location : In person (Gainesville, GA)

Responsibilities :

• Start and verify production processes.
• Perform maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Conduct minor repairs and troubleshoot issues with molding machines and related equipment.
• Execute changeovers on injection molding machines.
• Set tools and operate overhead crane.
• Handle materials efficiently.
• Operate machines.
• Record production activities accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections following International Automotive Task Force quality standards (IATF 16949).
• Collaborate with team members and assist with complex tasks.
• Follow Internal Quality Issues procedures (IQI).
• Ensure adherence to First in, First out (FIFO) practices.
• Maintain compliance with safety rules and policies.
• Uphold housekeeping standards using the 5S methodology.
