Job Description

The Salesforce Technical Lead (Solution Architect) provides technical direction, architectural design, and solution oversight for all Salesforce initiatives under this engagement. This professional ensures that the District's Salesforce environments are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. As the highest technical authority for Category 2, the Technical Lead translates complex business requirements into sound architectural designs, defines integration strategies, and ensures compliance with Salesforce and government security standards.

Experience and Certifications (preffered)

12 14 years of IT experience, including 8 10 years of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.

Proven leadership designing and implementing multi-cloud Salesforce ecosystems integrating Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning Platform.

Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Integration Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA) required.

Experience implementing integrations using MuleSoft, REST / SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies.

Strong background in database design, enterprise security, and DevOps automation.

Key Responsibilities :

Define and document the Salesforce technical architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance standards.

Oversee end-to-end solution design, from requirements analysis through deployment and support.

Lead development of Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to align technical milestones with project timelines.

Guide development teams in implementing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

Establish integration strategies for connecting Salesforce with ERP, HR, and analytics systems.

Implement CI / CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing across environments.

Conduct system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization.

Review technical deliverables for compliance with Salesforce best practices and quality standards.

Provide expert consultation on environment management, sandbox strategy, and DevOps release processes.

Preferred Experience :

Prior experience serving as Salesforce Solution Architect or Lead Developer in large-scale government Salesforce projects.

Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud Voice, and Experience Cloud Portals.

Familiarity with API-led integration using MuleSoft or Boomi, version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps), and automated testing tools.

Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with experience managing distributed or hybrid technical teams.

Experience contributing to proposal development, design documentation, and client presentations.
