A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for borrowers in the loss mitigation process, including package collection and foreclosure
Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist delinquent mortgage loan borrowers and document interactions in the servicing system
Communicate loss mitigation terms, options, and the foreclosure process to borrowers while ensuring compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
A combined 4 years of higher education and / or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
Excellent customer service skills
Mortgage collections experience is preferred
