The Role

The Superintendent leads all on-site construction activities and ensures that each project runs smoothly, efficiently, and to Gill Construction's exacting standards. You'll be the first on site and the last to leave - guiding crews, coordinating trade partners, and maintaining momentum from start to finish.

We're looking for a Superintendent who embodies that mindset - someone who can run a tight, organized jobsite, motivate crews, and step in personally when something needs to get finished.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction operations and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Lead and supervise field crews, trade partners, and subcontractors, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Step in when required to perform or assist with hands-on construction tasks to keep work moving forward.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Texas safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and secure jobsite.
• Review drawings and specifications; identify and resolve field issues quickly and effectively.
• Coordinate daily workflow, material deliveries, and inspections to keep projects on track.
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly site meetings to align crews and communicate updates.
• Track and report site progress through daily logs, photos, and checklists.
• Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design intent.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to anticipate needs, prevent delays, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary on-site representative for Gill Construction - professional, dependable, and solutions-driven.
