Position : Senior Oracle 11g / 12c Spatial DBA
Location : Lansing, MI
Duration : 12 months
Skills Required
- Experience with Oracle Spatial
- Provide support for growing Oracle Spatial needs, including installation, tuning and trouble shooting
- Assist in the implementation of Oracle Statewide Standards
- Experience with Oracle 11g , 12c
- Working knowledge of DDL, DML, PL / SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints and cursors
- Proficiency with Oracle performance tuning
- Proficiency with database backup and recovery using Oracle RMAN…..
- Ability to analyze and design physical databases and their definitions
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing
- Experience with installation, configuration and upgrades of vendor-supplied software, including contacting vendor on enhancements and problems.
- Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
- Excellent written / verbal communication and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and deliver high quality results when given a set of requirements
- Experience with Oracle on Solaris

Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field appropriate for the assignment plus five years of experience.
