Job Description

This role is centered around hydraulic cylinder repair in a workshop setting. The Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic cylinders to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. They play a key role in the maintenance and restoration of hydraulic components.

Job Duties Include :

Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic cylinders.
Perform necessary repairs, including seal replacements, rod reconditioning, and cylinder reassembly.
Test repaired cylinders to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
Collaborate with other team members and provide technical expertise in hydraulic cylinder repair.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding repair progress and any potential challenges.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills / Qualifications :

Proven experience in hydraulic cylinder repair or related mechanical field.

Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components preferred.

Proficient in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders.

Familiarity with hydraulic seals, materials, and industry best practices.

Ability to accurately diagnose issues and implement appropriate repair solutions.
