An excellent manufacturing company is hiring a Assembly Floor Lead. The ideal candidate will have experience managing staff and will oversee all daily operations of the plant. Team Lead will develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
- Managing a Staff ranging from 8-12 employees
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement production in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions as needed
- Maintain professional relationship with upper management
- Develop plant staff plan to optimize production
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity
- Keep a professional appearance.
Requirements
Proven work experience in a leadership role for 5+ years with referencesAbility to manage in a small, yet fast-paced environmentAdequate knowledge of business and management principles (production planning, resource allocation and human resources)Experience in hydraulics and or basic electrical systems is a plusBe knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processesComputer literacyStrong team building, decision-making and people management skillsMUST HAVE a valid driver license.Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.High level aptitude.MUST be a good communicator with customers under stressful conditions.Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.Often the "face" of the company - must keep a professional appearance and attitude.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentSelf-driven individual, ability to work with minimal directionIf this sounds like the type of opportunity you see yourself transitioning into next, contact Julie Gross at 605-705-6836.
