As a Security Professional - Unarmed Industrial Patrol in Norfolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Your routine patrols and visible presence will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will engage with individuals onsite, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary based on the location.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal protocols.Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.What We're Looking For :

A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
