Accounting Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join their team at a leading trucking company. This role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Billing . The ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist :
- Process and manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing, collections, and payment application.
- Oversee Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, and timely payments.
- Prepare and issue accurate billing statements in compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
- Reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support month-end close activities, reporting, and audits as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations and resolve any issues promptly.
