This role is part of the Optum Life Sciences Marketing Team and reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing. Optum Life Sciences serves as a trusted partner for the life sciences industry, delivering real‑world evidence across the lifecycle of medicine development to help people live healthier lives and make the healthcare system work better for everyone. Because business needs are constantly evolving, this role is responsible for creating compelling content that will be utilized across numerous digital channels to drive brand awareness, event attendance and attention, and customer growth.

This position is full‑time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8‑hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Integrated Marketing in executing compelling B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive brand awareness and growth for the business
• Create and manage engaging content for integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives, including for various digital channels such as web pages, blog posts, social media, microsites, webinars, email newsletters and campaigns
• Support the planning and execution of digital advertising programs
• Support events as needed, including digital campaigns that promote attendance and share highlights
• Evaluate and support third party media opportunities to target specific audiences of interest
• Support other ongoing and ad hoc integrated marketing activities as needed
• Maintain and / OR develop dashboards, summaries, and presentations to measure and share marketing results
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, business leaders, SMEs, and other stakeholders to execute marketing strategies effectively, including copywriters, graphic designers, and other cross‑functional marketing partners to produce high quality content
• Work with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure timely delivery and high‑quality output of marketing materials

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far‑reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 - $127,200 annually based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
