Within GA Telesis, the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is a single-source solution to all supply chain, logistics, and maintenance needs. FSG is seeking a Product Line Manager - Airframe to join its well-known and high-impact team to manage all aspects of the product life cycle including development of product availability, sales, and marketing, prior to being made available for distribution. Reporting to the Director of Product Line Airframe Solutions, the ideal candidate should be highly organized, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, and possess analytical thinking skills. This position is based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
Responsibilities :
- Manage roadmap for product line(s) to include all aspects of coordination, project management, communication and marketing
- Ensure appropriate presentation, specifications, competitive positioning, and any other related product documentation to support the sale of the product
- Deliver profitable products and solutions to the market that meet current or future market requirements, exceed ROI objectives, and are introduced in a timely fashion
- Define clear business plans integrating company core competencies, time to market, product costs, channels, and competition
- Coordinate development priorities to meet both long and short-term revenue objectives
- Prioritize and balance investment in sustaining engineering, development, and strategic investment
- Airframe evaluations
- Ensure business inputs are complete and representative
- Oversee all day-to-day business needs as it pertains to product management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
2+ years' experience as Product Line Manager for USM in commercial aviation aftermarket, with expertise in Boeing and Airbus airframe / QEC sales and purchasingIntermediate level MS Excel skills (ex. Pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)Strong organizational and communications skillsProven track record of managing aviation products through the complete life cycleDirect experience managing resources, forecasting marketability, determining demand, and overcoming sales barriersExceptional presentation skills and the ability to read technical drawings and analyze IPCsThorough understanding of product line management processes and proceduresDemonstrated ability to work across cross-cultural, cross-geography and multi-disciplinary teamsExperience with Salesforce and Quantum preferredCome check out how hashtag#gatelesis is "Intelligently Defining the FUTURE of Aviation and Aerospace"
