job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDemonstrates competence in delivering pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care including patient assessment pre- and post-procedure care and emergency cardiac care (CPR required). Assists with post-procedure transport as needed. Ensures equipment is calibrated and properly maintained daily. Performs and records equipment maintenance and quality assurance monitoring. Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems to supervisor. Generates ultrasound images of the heart and / or vascular related structures. May perform staff training and education. Monitors and records patient information and maintains report storage and data systems. Compiles and enters data necessary for charge entry and prepares reports. Retrieves stored information and reports from automated storage system. Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and ensures timely and efficient room preparation between procedures. CPR certification required.
