Certified Caregiver HHA Home Health Aide Apopka

Our client is seeking a compassionate HHA / CNA caregiver from 9 am - 1 pm. The ability to speak Patois is a plus. Must have excellent skills and a gentle demeanor with a 2-year minimum of verifiable IN-HOME CARE experience. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact we want you on our team!

Minimum Requirements

2 YEARS MINIMUM of verifiable in-home care experience

Excellent Communications Skills

Must work 2 weekend days a month

Proven experience in caring for clients with dementia

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to keep clients engaged and active

Professional and dedicated to providing high-quality care

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification

Ability to work independently and follow a care plan

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Must pass a background check

CPR and First Aid certification required

Ability to handle physical and emotional demands of the role

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical personal assistance to clients in their homes

Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

Providing medication reminders and assistance with managing medications

Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients

Document care provided and communicate with the care team as needed

Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Accompanying clients to appointments and outings

Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
