Job Summary :

The Radiation Therapy Specialist is responsible for :

• Administering daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses safely and accurately.
• Utilizing technical knowledge of equipment and clinical treatment setup.
• Maintaining effective communication with patients, families, healthcare workers, and radiation oncology department staff.
• Ensuring patient safety during treatment and accurate documentation of care.
• Adhering to HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Understanding and reporting on the physical and emotional status of patients.
