- Job Responsibilities
- Develop treatment plans to assist clients with speech problems such as articulation, delayed language, stuttering, cognition, swallowing disorders, harsh voice problems.
- Assess client needs and adjust treatments in accordance with patient progression.
- Evaluate language, speech, cognition, swallowing to diagnose and develop a treatment plan.
- Document information and write concise, detailed notes / reports .
- Communicate effectively with all staff, clients, and business affiliates.
- Develop programs or activities for individuals and / or groups to deal with language, swallowing, cognition, & speech delays.
- Teach clients proper techniques for achieving more effective communication, swallowing, and cognition.
- Instruct clients on how to strengthen the muscles of the face, tongue and jaw to facilitate improved speech & swallowing.
- Job Skills & Qualifications
- Master's in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania speech-language pathologist license
- Clinical Fellows in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech-language pathology are welcome to apply
- Experience, preferably with preschool / elementary school aged children.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in the area of speech-language pathology.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

- Excellent time management skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Passion for working in a school environment.
- Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) is a plus
- Experience with Google Applications (i.e., Google Forms, Google Drive, etc.)
- Capable of performing essential job functions
- Familiarity with Simple Practice EMR is a bonus

Pay : $74,500.00 - $115,000.00 per year
