Summary / Objective : The Electrician will play an essential role in providing detailed technical expertise to perform installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems. This role should understand fully the responsibilities of a helper / top helper and utilize skills to develop subordinates as well as execute advanced electrical skills.

Essential Functions :

• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
• Identify electrical problems and coordinate repairs.
• Conduct general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues with the appropriate testing equipment.
• Assist with job layout and execute daily activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities : None.

Work Environment :

This position is required to work in a variety of conditions relative to construction jobsite environments and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, as assigned. Exposure to weather, heat, etc. is expected.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

Travel Required : Travel to / from multiple jobsites, projects, and offices. Minimal overnight or weekend travel. Must possess a valid US drivers license.
