At Full Measure Collective, teaching isn’t just a job.
It’s a craft, a creative collaboration, and an opportunity to change lives. Our Music Teachers don’t just guide students through scales and exercises; they ignite curiosity, foster confidence, and help students discover the joy of musical expression. If you’ve ever had a teacher who made learning feel effortless and fun because they were gifted at connecting with both the subject and the student, you know the kind of educator we’re seeking.
This role is for the passionate, the imaginative, the communicators —those who want to inspire, challenge, and grow alongside their students. You will lead private lessons, group sessions, workshops, and performance opportunities in‑person, online, and in students’ homes, nurturing each learner’s unique musical journey.
What Success Looks Like at Full Measure
Success in this role isn’t measured in minutes of practice completed or pages of exercises; it’s measured in students who leave lessons excited, curious, and confident, in instructors who grow their craft daily, and in the creation of a vibrant, collaborative, creative community. You’ll be part of a team that sets the standard for teaching excellence—teachers who don’t just instruct but inspire.

- Build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in collaborative meetings, workshops, and curriculum development to continually enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain records of student activities and progress, and communicate insights, encouragement, and guidance.
- Contribute ideas, lead initiatives, and help shape the culture of Full Measure Collective.
