FSQA SUPERVISOR II

Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Supervisor

The primary function of this position is to assist the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with ensuring the company has the highest product quality that is safe for human consumption.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assistant to and direct backup for QA Manager
• Directly supervises QA technicians and coordinates their activities with assistance from QA Manager
• Responsible for ensuring implementation of SQF Program protocols and standards
• Works with QA Manager to help maintain HACCP program and all records associated with it, including the monitoring of the CCPs.
• Ensures all records and proper documents for SQF, HACCP and all pre-requisite programs are properly organized and maintained.
• Collaborates with Lab Manager on scheduled testing
• Follows up on any maintenance requests that are generated
• Documents all sanitation requests that are needed.
• Interacts with USDA on any NRs and any other concerns of the inspectors.
• Responsible for Internal pest control program supplementing the outside pest control program
• Coordinates internal audits (GMP, glass and brittle plastic).
• Assists Lab manager on any samples that need to be taken for analysis
