Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Middletown has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op, who assists Manufacturing Engineering, Project Managers and / or Program Managers as assigned in the following areas : manufacturing planning and shop liaison functions, continuous improvement functions, and business development.

• Reading and interpreting customer blueprints and specifications
• Formulating manufacturing planning paperwork and rework plans
• Assisting manufacturing personnel with resolutions of technical problems in areas such as tooling and / or manufacturing processes
• Development and implementation process documentation in Manufacturing Technical Directive documentation
• Supporting effort in a cross functional team
• Defining and documentation of current process
• Identifying potential areas of improvement
• Developing and documenting plan to achieve improvement
• Investigate and document appropriate process for reviewed business
• Identify, evaluate and define process and equipment needed for effort
