Job Title : Cardiac Fellowship-Trained Anesthesiologist

A leading hospital in Syracuse, NY is seeking a skilled, Cardiac Fellowship-trained Anesthesiologist to join their established and collaborative team. Position Overview :
This position requires 2,100 clinical hours annually , covering a diverse range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, and gynecology . While pediatric cases are minimal, they may arise at a nearby ambulatory surgery center (ASC). The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology with a completed cardiac anesthesia fellowship .
The team-oriented department supports an environment where high-quality care, respect, and professional development are priorities. You'll collaborate with a seasoned group of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to deliver outstanding outcomes for a wide variety of cases.
Call Schedule :
One weekend per month
Three in-house overnight calls every two months
Four second-call shifts every two months
This balanced schedule ensures a manageable workload and time for personal and professional flexibility.
Compensation & Benefits :
$600,000 base salary
$125,000 sign-on bonus
Retention stipend available in the first two years
Premium pay and excess call compensation for additional earnings
10 weeks of paid time off annually

Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Completion of a cardiac anesthesia fellowship (required)
Current New York State medical license and DEA registration
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
