This position is located at (VSFB) Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting.

Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Essential Functions

• Operate oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, function synthesizers, spectrum analyzers, receivers, power meters and digital volt meters.
• Operate various antennas for Frequency Protection and monitoring.
• Operate and perform Direction finding of RF signals using the Rohde & Schwarz DF / Monitoring system.
• Determine malfunctions and troubleshoot to the unit replacement level and return equipment to operational condition.
• Climb towers to perform these functions.
• Prepare and maintain Master Station Logs, Frequency Clearance / Protection checklists.

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $34.06 to $42.53. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education / training and preferred skills and knowledge.
