Must-Have : General and GYN experience; Cerner experience; similar facility experience (14 room OR); ability to work two out of three holidays, including days surrounding each holiday; call required (3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks); float required.

Description :

The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room.

The schedule is days, 5 days a week.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Experience with Cerner is required.

General and gynecological experience is necessary.

The candidate should be comfortable with a facility of similar size, specifically a 14-room OR.

The nurse must be available to work during holidays.

Three weeknight calls and two weekend calls are required within a six-week period.

Floating to other areas may be required.

Candidates must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.

CNOR certification is preferred.

Preferred skills include experience in bariatrics, vascular, thoracic, ENT, endoscopic procedures, general surgery, gynecology, neurology, and ophthalmology.

Blue scrubs are required for this position.

Familiarity with special equipment, such as DaVinci Xi and Ion Robot, is an advantage.

The unit serves adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 38-47 patients.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including interpretation services and rapid response teams.

The role includes various patient diagnoses related to general surgery, ENT, urology, thoracic, vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, orthopedics, and dental podiatry.

Emergency and special procedures also occur in this setting.

The patient ratios are 1 : 1 during the day shifts.
