To qualify for operating on the Via platform, you must meet the following criteria :

Possess a valid driver's license

Be 25 years of age or older

Complete a drug screening

Have more than 5 years of unrestricted driving experience in the US

Have at least 5 years of experience as a parent or professional caregiver

Hold a personal auto insurance policy

Pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check (SSN needed)

Successfully complete a vehicle inspection

Additional requirements may be communicated to prospective driver partners as necessary.

New driver partner promotion : To qualify, you must complete at least 10 hours of driving on the Via platform within 30 days after your onboarding session. Offline time, including breaks, will not count toward this 10-hour minimum. This promotion may be changed or revoked at any time at Via's discretion, and the terms are subject to modification.
