Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special / Interventional Procedures, and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Maintains strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referring physicians. Consistently demonstrates efficient sterile technique skills. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Consistently demonstrates critical thinking skills in day to day job prioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions. Must be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, as well as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.

What qualifications you will need :

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Current ARRT (R) with (VI) or (CV) certification or RCIS with CCI and CE compliant.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Advanced ARRT Credentials Strongly preferred within one year.
• ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RN’s.
