PIPEFITTER LEAD A - NIGHTSHIFT

Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION : The pipefitter lays out, installs and maintains vessels' piping systems, such as heat and power, hot water, hydraulic, air pressure and oil lines.

• Follows blueprints and uses hand tools and shop machines.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and / or work objectives. Ability to effectively plan work procedures, equipment, material, and manpower needs. Ability to effectively build and lead a productive work group and to perform as a member of supervisory team. Ability to effectively communicate.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING : Minimum of three (3) years' experience, as a pipefitter is preferred, capable of operating a cutting torch and tack welding. High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
