The Logistics / Asset Management Specialist will provide expert support to the U.S. Coast Guard's Mission Essential Personnel Equipment (MEPE) program at Base Portsmouth, VA. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of mission-essential assets, ensuring accurate accountability, inventory control, and readiness in alignment with Coast Guard logistics policies. The Specialist will oversee property management functions, maintain visibility of equipment through Coast Guard logistics systems, and provide analysis and reporting to program leadership. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Senior Specialist will also mentor junior staff, support process improvements, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure personnel and equipment are mission ready.
