Ardurra is hiring : AutoCad Designer (Transportation) in Albuquerque

Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Civil Designer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM!

As part of our New Mexico team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the growing Ardurra family in our Transportation and Site / Civil Engineering practices. You will support our growth in New Mexico and a wide variety of exciting transportation and civil engineering / land development projects throughout the region.

Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for a wide variety of civil engineering projects that include the following elements : geometric design, horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout and sight distance determination, interchange layout, roadway drainage, and right of way plans.

Produce roadway sections, erosion control plans, site preparation plans, roadway profiles, drainage plans and profiles, utility plans, paving, pavement marking plans, and signing plans.

BS in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred but not required.

~5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

~ Ability to follow basic CAD standards and learn in-house standards.

~ Ability to draw plans efficiently and accurately using Civil 3D.

~ Thorough understanding of roads and streets, drainage and utility design

~ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
