Job Description
In this position, your schedule will be from 12 : 00am to 8 : 30am (nights), Monday through Friday.
This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits.
As part of this role, your responsibilities will include :
- Performing essential patient care processes involving moderate and high complexity testing
- Analyzing, reviewing, and reporting testing results
- Recognizing and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Working in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
- Promoting safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements for this role :
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; OR Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testingCertification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalentNYS Laboratory Licensed.Proficient reading, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to operate various laboratory equipmentBonus qualifications include :
2+ years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing within a specialized areaCompensation for this role ranges from $38.00 to $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and potential geographic differentials.
