Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive atmosphere while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or delivery personnel to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and / or daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
