Compensation Range :

Anticipated compensation range of $162,988.00 - $199,661.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations :

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the department manager has 24-hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital and the nursing unit and their effect on patient care. This position requires flexibility of hours.\n\nEDUCATION : \nBachelor 's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required.\n\nEXPERIENCE / TRAINING : \nFive years of related experience in area or clinical specialty required.\nPreferred -Two years previous management experience.\n\nLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : \nRequired : \nCurrent unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)\nCurrent Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association\n\nPreferred : \nEmergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)\nTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)\nCurrent certification in applicable nursing specialty\n\nSKILLS : \nGood managerial, communicative and organizational skills.
