If you are passionate about mental health and are looking for a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for this position.\n\nProvide high-quality care to patients with mental health needs in an outpatient setting.\nUtilize knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.\nCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.\nAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.\nMonitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.\nEducate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.\nAdhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.\nParticipate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health nursing.\nDemonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, and provide emotional support when needed.\nMaintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.\nAdhere to Mainehealth's policies and procedures and uphold the organization's values and mission.\nContinuously evaluate and improve nursing practices to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.\nCollaborate with community resources and agencies to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with mental health needs.\nServe as an advocate for patients and promote a patient-centered approach to care.\n\nMainehealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
