As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure atmosphere, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Sat 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures for employees, visitors, and contractors at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the facility.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and report any unusual activity or hazards.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Collaborate with site personnel and / or management to address security-related needs and provide support during emergencies or drills.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
