Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Mobile Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive patrols. You will engage with staff, visitors, and patients, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and responding to various situations. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals on site.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and / or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a cooperative and responsive security-related presence.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
